No Child Let Inside
It seems a little strange to me that Take A Child Outside week runs from a Wednesday to Tuesday (Sept 24-30), but I guess it's focsued more on the last week in the month rather than any thing else. Regardless, I was proud to see the initiative started in my own NC backyard. Kudos to Liz Baird, Director of school programs with the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh, for conceiving the idea.
