Our Temporary but Interesting Neighbor

A few weeks ago, almost every member of the Topics team came into the office exclaiming, “What is that white tent castle thing across the street?!” It turned out that Cavalia had come to Charlotte and chose our neighborhood as its temporary home. The show, taking place under the largest touring big top in North America, was created by Normand Latourelle, one of the original founders of Cirque du Soleil.

It combines the talents of over sixty horses with performers of the dramatic arts, live music and dance. The show usually stays in town until its ticket sales slow, and Cavalia just announced it was extending its run in Charlotte an additional two weeks. So we say, welcome to the neighborhood, Cavalia.
